I tore my left quad hurdling about 5 months ago, but I never visited a medical professional, just sretched and rested for a while. The pain was pretty much gone for 3 months or so, but it's coming back again. I've started running every day, and I'm feeling searing pain in my quad. I'm having a really rough time just making it through P.E. Class, even though the initial injury was 5 months ago. Is it normal that I'm still experiencing pain? If so, what can do besides stretching so that I don't have to miss P.E. ?

Maybe you take an anti-inflammatory and see if this helps (such as Tylenol or Advil) and this may help with the overall pain issue but as far as the injury goes...you really should see a sports injury specialist just to see if this problem is correctable or otherwise you could living with this pain for a longer time if it's not dealt with.
