I just had a woman cut my hair last night. She trimmed my right above the butt length hair, and then did some layers. My hair went to the middle of my back, and the sides of my hair are all one length, there are no layers there just short....to my shoulders. The back is layered but she started from the front. Now my question is, did she mess up my hair by completely cutting my sides short instead of layering them? Because I always thought that you were supposed to do the top layer of hair and layer that.
