What size wire do you use from the breaker box in manufactured home to the meter base. I was told there were 4 wires involved - I understand the 4th wire is a ground, but where does connect in breaker box and to the meter base?

If the service is 200 amp, then use #4/0 4 wire URD cable, AKA Trailer Cable, in areas popular with trailers. No offense intended, I live in a double wide.

Larger wire may be needed for a longer distance than 100 foot.

At the meter/disconnect both neutrals, the forth wire of the URD, and the grounding rod electrode conductor connect at one point, including a screw to connect this lug to the metal can of the meter..

At the panel, the white connects to the insulated and isolated neutral bar, and the ground wire connects to a bar bolted directly to the metal can using machine thread screws.
