Does the debit and credit balances in your unadjusted trial balance always have to equal? I'm working on a project in class & my DR and CR balances in my journal equal and I went on to do my ledger, but when I got to my unadjusted trial balance..I can't get them to equal for nothing...does that mean that I could have erred in my ledger?

HELP!
