When the light switch by the door is turned off the light goes off but the fan stays on. This justed started happening after we reversed the fan rotation. How can I get it to tutn back off at the door swithch

Are there two switches in the room that work the fan and light?

The reversing switch should not be in the service in circuit.

I suggest that you check the wiring again. Service In should be provided by a black wire to the fan. The light package usually is feed via a blue wire or a stripped black/white wire.

Make sure the leads are connected properly.

What type of wall switch is it? What make/model is the fan?
