Hello, I just purchased a Hampton Bay Mediterranean ceiling fan. I have had a impossible time trying to fit the remote receiver in the canopy. I have read similar situations on this site, but they have left me further baffled. I tied to get it to fit in the "U" as one person suggested and there is not enough room between the mounting bracket and ceiling. What should I do?
