I have installed a cctv camera, for home security. I can view it's output on my TV. Now I need a device where I can record the output of the camera for say 48 hrs and view it later or erase it. What kind of device do I need. What are the cheapest options.

I would suggest going to the cctv manufacture to see what they recommend. Depending on what kind of cctv camera you have, and what kind of recording quality you are looking for (including storage capacity), you may want to look at some kind of DVR unit. You can some pretty cheap.

Your cheapest option is a 40 hr real time vcr or up to 1280 time lapse recording. Time lapse means that the recorded video will be a little jumpy because not all the video gets recorded, there is a lapse in recording. It will run you about $350. Get

Hey, I have a security setup at a business that I bought and the security is horrible. The cameras are not connected right and I need to hook them up to where all cameras are on one feed. I have a good recorder and the cameras are a little out dated. The system spec's are, 4 Panasonic BP-114 cameras, 3 BW SSC-112c samsung cameras, and two Stern mini cameras. How do I connect all of these cameras into the SuperCircuit VCR recorder, and get the constant feed throughout the store?

I have trouble hooking up my security tv model no. 53-1589 and the camera model no. 1670 what do I need and how?
