Hi, I'm a 22 year old male and I have been shaving for about 8 years. At about 18, I tried shaving against the grain for a few weeks. I decided against it and tried to get back to shaving with the grain.

From then till now, I can never get a close shave shaving with the grain. Not close at all, looking in the mirror it looks like I haven't shaved in about a day. If I shave against the grain after shaving with the grain, it takes care of the rest.

My question is, how do I "fix" my grain so that I can just shave with it and still get even a decently close shave?
