I Recently relocated and gave my landlord notice as to my reasons for having to break my lease. According to the lease if I moved out early I would have to pay rent for the next three months. I moved out on 08/25 a week before the end of the month to allow time to get the house ready for the new tenant. A new tenant moved in on 09/01. Am I still liable for the three months rent as stated in the lease if someone else is now living there? It has also been over six weeks and I still haven't received my security deposit. It was noted when I moved out that part of the security deposit would go towards cleaning the house and the carpet. Any assistance will be appreciated
