About 2 months ago, I died my naturally blonde hair red. The red has faded to a dark strawberry blonde. Now, I miss my old blonde hair and have about an inch of blonde roots. I know that I can't really dye it a lighter shade, so I was wondering if I should use Loreal Color Zap. Will it work on hair that was dyed so long ago? Is there anything I should do to my hair beforehand? And once I use the product, will I be back to blonde or will I have to find a shade of dye similar to my natural color and redye my hair? Thanks for the help!
