How do you do a unadjused trial balance? everything looks rights on my paper but when i add it up the debit and credit number does not equal.

Try to subtract the difference between the debit and the credits and see if you have not posted a transaction of that amount to one side. Or go over the transaction to check if you have posted them in the right account.
