hi. i have had the same problem. it started about 4 years ago..i just turned 37, and have always be a sun tanner my whole life. i have found that use of a very high sunblock on my upper lip makes a huge difference. my upper skin above my lip blends in with the rest of my face. i have also stopped waxing, ect my upper lip..i only tweeze any unwanted hair. i tell all my younger friends, do not wax or shave, it causes the skin on face to be come tougher than other parts of the face. hope this works for you, i did for me on my skin above my lip. looked like a dark mustache.....not any more.!!
