Can someone tell me if I am on the right track.

I have to analyze the strength of Jeff's cash flow on total assets ratio.

His cash flow from operations is 80,000
avg. total assets 800,000

So, do I divide the cash flow from operations by the avg total assets to get the cash flow on total assets.

This is my understanding of this but I am unsure.
