About how often should I switch bras? Any exceptions?

The usual rule of thumb is that a bra should be replaced every 6 months. It really depends on how many bras you own, how often you switch off, and how often they are washed. When it looks a bit pulled around the straps, undercup, or backstrap, or threads start to come apart, buy a new bra. I don't know of any bras that will hold up indefinitely.
