I took the advice from many and cleaned the flame sensor. The furnace ran for about two minutes this time with the burners going, then they went out and continues to be that way. Could it be something else too, or is it likely just the sensor needs to be replaced ?

There should be a grounding wire(green wire) from the burners to the ignition control modual, check to make sure there is a good ground and that the flame sensor is in the flame, you may have a defective ignition control, Good luck, Mike
