Many moons ago, I obtained a unique outlet tester. It was about the size of a soup can with all of the standard stuff identified like: correct wiring, open gnd, open neutral etc.. It had a 3 prong plug at one end and 4 lights on the other. It walked one day about 2 years ago.

BUT, it provided a unique test. The GRD lamp would illuminate if the ground was <1 ohm.

Anyone know of a comparable instrument?
