what can i do to my air conditioner or what is the problem if my room is not cold...i have it on 80 it feels good close by but my room is not cool enough?

Set the unit lower than 80. Check the air filter for the unit.

80 degrees is very warm for a room, also it must be humid in there (unless you live in a super dry climate).

- turn thermostat to 75 (avg room tempearture)
- make sure filter is clean
- check and see that air coming out of the vents is very cold.
