Hi,
I have a small room that doesn't get enough cooling. I am looking into air vent booster fans, but it appears they won't work for ceiling air vents. What would be a wise/economical choice?
Thanks for your help.

One option would be to increase the duct size , another option is a duct booster fan but this would need to be wired electrically and probably cost more. Another option is to replace the register on the ceiling in this room, a great number of contractors install what is called a stamped face register, these restrict air flow and cannot be adjusted to throw the air appropriatly into the room. The better register has wider spaces between the blades and each blade is individually adjustable and is curved to throw the air with less restriction to air flow and where you want it, these can be purchased from your local air conditioning supply house. This is the cheapest option
