Hi My Name is Ashley, I am 18years old. i was on the shot for almost 1 year and i had a doctors appointment for my next injection and i never went to the doctor to get it because i was sick and in alot of pain when i was on so i decided to not go back for it. and i have talked to my friend who just had a baby and she said that she thinks im pregnant because i have had all the symtoms but i took a home pregnancy test and it said i wasn't pregnant, but i was throwing up and my stomach has been bothering me and my boobs are really sore, every time i touch them. i had some of the symtoms of being pregnant. do you think im pregnant? or do you think that it is just my hormones trying to get back to normal from being on the shot? i don't really know so can someone please help me.

How long has it been since you were supposed to get another shot? Every person is different. When I got off of Depo, I had a period that next month. It just depends.

Since your hormones are thrown off so badly from being on the shot, the best way to determine if you are pregnant is go to the doctor. :)

I actually of a similar scenario to this, I have been off the Depo for 3 months, I thought I was also pregnant because I didnt get my perios right away, but I still havent gotten my period, and I took a test and it said negative. My breasts are sore and I feel like I cant stop eating and I am gaining weight. I asked on another website and I truly believe its because of the shot, and the majority of us going through this are not pregnant. Also if you that freaked out about it, or convinced you are pregnant, even if your not you will get symptoms of a pregnancy. But I dont think I will be taking the depo again, this is just too long for my ovaries to still be "sleeping" haha.
