i am new to accounting and i dont now how to put the garnishment in to my system to make it balance. the employee has the money taken from his pay every week. it stays in the business checking account. and then the business pays the money for him.

chart of accounts: when he has it removed is it an asset, lilability, expense, income ect....

and when the business pays it it is accounts payable?
