Holy Crap it is 82 degrees in the house. I have tried many different settings, read the dang manual can't find out how to get the a/c to come on. Should it be on Auto or should I have it on fan? what temp to set it to? I just tried to look through the frequently asked questions but it didn't direct me to where I needed to go. Please help, someone is gonna find a big crusty dried up Startover22 on the floor in the morning if you don't. J/K! Thanks for any help at all!!

Set to Auto, Set thermostat to 75 for test. Verify Breakers in Electrical Panel, and at disconnects are not tripped, turn off and back on, if you don't have a meter.
Also, make sure it is set to cool.

I have a Honeywell Thermostat...

I set the Fan to the On Position
Flip the other switch to Cool
After flipping switch to cool I press the down button to get to the desired temp then press Hold Temp.

This starts the A/C running....

I don't know if it will work but I will try. How long does it take to start feeling the cool? I feel a little air comingout of all of the vents but nothing to really cool anything down. Upstairs it has to be about 110 degrees in the midday! I just went and changed it. I hope it works! Thanks.
