I attempted to turn my trane central air on at the thermostat by turning the power on and lowering the teperature, and NOTHING!!! I automatically suspected that the circuit had tripped to I went to the breaker it was in the on postion , so I flipped it and went back to the stat. NOTHING. I tried to see in increasing the temparature and turning on the heat would get something, and NOTHING!!!!. The fan on unit outside is not on and their is nothing coming out of the vents, for either a/c or heat. The house and a/c unit are 9 years old. There was a pretty bad rain storm last night. What could be the problem? Thanks?

Open inside unit and look at circuit board. See if it has a fuse (auto type 3 or 5 amp) If you have one check it. If none there see if one in line with transformer for one. If none at all and you have a meter check the transformer for 120 v coming in and 24 v going out. Post back with results.
