i am having trouble with the wiring of this stat. i have the rc and rh jumped and connected to r on the furnace and w to w, y to y, g to g.
i have the out door unit connected to y and c.
here is the problem when set to cool after delay furnace kicks on and so does condensing unit but after that the burners come on as if in heat mode. it is an older rheem furnace and it never had a/c before please tell me if im doing some thing wrong

Look at the beginning of this board for the sticky notes on proper thermostat wiring ETC. See if that helps you. If not post back.
