If my son was not prescribed it did he get them on the black market?

Zyprexa is a thienobenzodiazepine. It belongs to a group of medications known as antipsychotic agents. These medications are used to treat mental and emotional problems such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Schizophrenia can cause symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, unusual suspiciousness, and emotional withdrawal. People with this condition may also feel depressed, anxious, or tense. Bipolar disorder causes alternating periods of depression and mania or "mixed episodes" where people have symptoms of both depression and mania. Zyprexa may be used, alone or in combination with other medications, to treat the manic or mixed episodes (but not the depression) of bipolar disorder. Medications like Zyprexa are thought to work by correcting the function of nerve pathways in certain areas of the brain.

It can be bought "online" from overseas firms offering discount medicine.
Since this drug is not part of most preferred drug insurance plans, buying it from overseas where they online company offers a prescription by online means and then mails you the drug. I found at least 3 online firms that offered this drug on the first page of my search.

Also often kids steal pills of various types from their parents or grandparents and sell them to school friends.

They are basically dangerous and can cuase all sorts of damage to people, serious side effects. Also since they are used in the treatment of mental issues, it will effect the mind with continued use.

And yes this can be an abused drug but much more dangous than pot.
