WHY does my boyfriend feel awkward having phone sex with me? He is 25!

My boyfriend and I have been together 3years.
In the bedroom, he isnt shy AT ALL with me...he is up for ANYTHING!
However...phone sex....not that he thinks it's stupid, bt he feels awkward, and doesnt really get into it, and laughs and stuff, than changes the subject.
What can I do to make him feel better and more comfterbul?

I never understood how men enjoy phone sex, myself. He may not likely get into it in the future either. Have you asked him directly if he wants to do it and take it seriously?

I'm a man and never enjoyed phone sex......and like him in bed I'm up for almost anything my wife is willing to participate in.

So here you have at least one other open minded guy who feels its both awkward and stupid. And as I result I don't get into it.

Men are usually visually stimulated creatures. He can't see you through the phone, so he's not really getting into it. It may be that he feels awkward because he's not getting all that aroused holding onto a receiver.

I never got why some men like phone sex. Seems completely contrary to their natures. But obviously there are enough of them out there to keep those late night "hotlines" in business. Go figure!

maybe you should roll play in front of eachother in person pretending to be on the phone make him have an orgasim. then next time maybe the real thing wont seem so wierd.

Ive tried it before and I usually cant help myself but think its just like those phone sex operaters and we all now those are always fake just like phone sex except I know the other person.Most of the time ive had girls telling me that there really playing with them selves and then I laugh it off and say that there not.But I also agree with goldiemae it is hard to get aroused by talking into a phone compared to lets say watching porn.
