On January 18th 2007 I was stuck in a situation I could not get out of . I had to hold my urine. For a long time. Like 2 hours. The last hour was hard, the last 30 minutes was very painful.

Since then I have had this frequent urge to urinate. Sometimes I would urinate 10-15 times a day. I have had to stop drinking coffee because if I do, I will have to urinate every 30-45 minutes all day almost. It seems to be getting better very very slowly, but just when I think it is getting better, ill get 3 urinations in 2 hours or something. That was today. Morning till 3pm only urinated 3 times (and once was with a bowel movement). Then from 330-6pm I had to go like 5 times. I did drink cranberry juice for lunch at noon.

So what is the matter with me? Will I get better? I don't have health insurance so it will take 3-4 months to see a urologist. I saw a family doctor who tested me and said I didn't have a urinary tract infection or diabetes. Said everything seemed fine.

I read somewhere that holding urine can stretch out your bladder, which is a muscle. Then it takes a few weeks for it to stretch back to normal size. But it had been over 2 months.

It may be that your bladder is never emptying all of the urine,due to prostate or maybe a blocked urethea tube .You really need to see a specialist .I know you say no insurance but most areas have some type of indigente help .

Yea, the indigent help will get me to a urologist in 3-4 months. But until then...

Something I forgot to mention is that I have also been doing some celibacy for the past 2 months. Started January 24th actually. Haven't had sex or masturbated at all for almost 2 months (it is for spiritual reasons). Do you think this could have anything to do with this? Could my lack of ejaculations have enlarged my prostrate or something? Could this have caused something to block my urethea?
