Sex with Condoms, safe to have sex again?

My girlfriend and i use condoms as a method of birth control and it is the only method that we use.
I put on a condom everytime we have sex but usually we both end up wanting more almost immediately or a few minutes after.
Is it safe to change condoms immediately after having ejaculated into the old one?
I mean, in all technicality it should be safe, but does the semen not ride down the base of the condom and inevitably get transferred even when you do put on a fresh one?

Learn and *practice* all kinds of ways for the woman to come to orgasm besides penetration....this is an excellent time to do that , kids. The man, too. Good time to take the focus away from the genitals and learn to appreciate all the many ways to offer up orgasms to life!!!!

Never use a condom over if that is what you are talking about.

Best wishes,
