Wet dreams, or nocturnal ommissions as they are technically named, can happen to anyone at any time. They are however not quite as obvious when your a woman. They could be caused by sexual frustration, but to be honest, a little too much baywatch can do it. Especially if you 16. They can't be controlled so there would be no point in getting upset by them, and even if the person was not his wife, they could be linked so some thing his wife said or did over the past few days. If it was my bloke, I might tease him a little but I wouldn't be hurt. I'd also be really pleased he felt comfortable enough to tell me about it. I have to admit I have had a few, I just put it down to the fact I have a very good imagination, and they are fantastic. So much easier than having to wake up your other half at 4am lol.
I don't understand. What is it that you think is abbynormal about what I wrote? And besides, how do you know abby is normal? LOL
She is a good friend of mine.
But, to answer your question, look at BlueRose's response. You kinda made it sound like the only time it happens is if a man hasn't ejaculated for a while. I have also never "heard" you refer to God before. So, all in all, you surprised me today. You are a man with many sides to your personality. If nothing else, you certainly helped wake me up real fast this mornin'.
A man can have a wet dream anytime.
You should ignore it. We all have dreams about people other than our partners. this could mean that they aren't having as much sex as he'd like, so his hormones go wild with whichever woman he can think of.
My fiancee has admitted to me before that he has had a wet dream about another female before no big deal just a dream, it usually happens when we've not had sex in awhile.
I can't remember the last time I had a wet dream, but I usually wake up before it gets to that point (probably some underlying fear from when I was a teenager!). I don't think it's really a big deal, and not because I'm a guy, but because regardless of all the books and people out there, no one definitively knows why we have some of the dreams we do. I dream every night and they're vivid enough to seem like reality to me, but unless I realize it's a dream, I can't control how it plays out. I believe sometimes it's just the minds way of trying to relieve stress.
i think more common when younger. cant speak for others.
and as for wondering if its an erotic dream about his wife or another... please! this is just silly.
most erotic dreams i have are random and half the time i wake up before the "fun" really begins. *man thats REALLY annoying* sooo.... its not like its scripted. who cares as long as the marriage is healthy and their sex life is fine. and even if its not, i think blaming neurons firing at 2AM isnt the real solution.
gross story but α couple months αgo my husbαnd hαd α wet dreαm -hαhα αnd we kindα "intertwine" when we sleep so it wαs αll over my leg--eww.. but it wαs hαlαrious.. never let him forget it, hαhα!
I'm very, very close to the big 30, and married and i have wet dreams. It was explained to me that it your body's nartrual way to release excessive sexual fluids. I can think of other ways to release them???? Funny thing was that I told one of my friends about it and he became extremely jealous. I mentioned this to my doctor and she asked if my sexaul patterns had changed. They had not. she reasoned that it was my new workout routine. I began lifting heavy weight and taking a supplement that aids the body in prducing testosterone. I stopped taking it, but I still have a gooooood wet dream every know and then.
If you're not getting much action, masturbation is probably not such a bad idea. It's always a good way to release excess semen, so as to avoid wet dreams. A lot of guys masturbate in the privacy of their shower. Not only does the semen get washed off (sometimes, a part of it doesn't, so be sure to make sure all your baby gravy is gone), but the water provide a weak lubricator.
If you feel your partner should know, let her know that a man HAS to get rid of that semen, be it sex, masturbation, or wet dreams. Masturbation is the cleanest and most fun
