I am 19 year old virgin going on 20.. and most times I am depressed about the situation. I don't want certain people to know that I am a virgin. I just feel like an outcast... sometimes I wonder if it's worth waiting because right now I am single. Every man nowadays wants sex. I don't have that to give because I am a Christian...

But most times I am depressed about the situation.. To be honest, I really want to experience it but I don't want to it with the wrong guy and then have sex with many men before I get married. I want to be married as a virgin but it's so hard... Sometimes I really wonder if I am still a virgin...

So I would want to know how do I know if I am still a virgin without going to a doctor..

First, you lose your virginity when you have penile insertion in your vagina. So if that hasn't happened you are still a virgin.

Second, if you have remained a virgin because a) of religious convictions and b) because you just haven't met a man you feel worthy of having sexual relations with, then you should be proud and hold your head up high. Sexual intimacy is a gift that two people share when they are in a long term committed relationship. If you have not yet found such a relationship, then you have no reason to be concerned about being a virgin.

Third, no one needs to know whether you are a virgin or not. This is not something you need to discuss with anyone, except the person you decide to lose it to at the time you plan on losing it.

Que? Have you had vaginal intercourse before? If yes then you are no longer a virgin, if no then yes you are still a virgin. You don't have to go to the doctor to figure that out.

Exactly... YOU know if you've had sex or not... as the previosu two posters have said... if you have never been penitrated by a man... not a little, not just the point... not of a moment... but NEVER... then you are a virgin...

And to expand on that... for many females its medically impossible to prove by an exam, because so many girls have their hymen torn through normal childhood play that its not an accurate indicator just by not being intact... a large percentage or true virgins do not have intact hymens.
