i am 18 years old and i have been trying to get pregnant since january and it is now september i jus don't understand why i am not getting pregnant. is there something wrong with me and how do i go about finding out? please someone help me.
I am wondering why you want a child at 18 too. Are you married? It is a lot of time committment and well...takes a ton of time. At 18, I was looking forward to college and meeting new people, not having kids. Maybe your body is telling you that you are not ready.
Well I see your read my post on another related subject So that is the same advice I would give you to help you concieve. Most doctor won't try to assist until it has been a year of trying unsucessfully.
But please think this through as well, I was 18 when I got pregnant with my daughter, 19 when I had her...she is now 5. It isn't going to be as easy and fun as you think.
First yes you should think long and hard about whether or not your sure that you wanna have a baby. then you should go to your gynacolagist and speak to them. you might be having sex at the wrong time you might be doing it in the wrong positions, (and believe me it can make all the difference). if you speak to your gynacologist he/she can tell you everything that you need to know.
thank you for all ur comments and yes i am married i have been since i was 17 and i am in college and also working a full time job i kno its; goin to b hard i want a child b/c my first baby died of sids i had got pregnant when i was 14 and her my daughter at 15 but she died within weeks now i am wanting to try to have another baby and everytime i end up not pregnant i cry i really want to have one but i jus don't kno whats wrong and i will c a doctor but how do i go bout asking him about this subject.
Honey, you need to see a COUNSELOR, as well as a doctor.
Trying to "replace" your child isn't going to work. Believe me, I understand that hole inside of you, the ache when you expect a baby to be there and there isn't.
But you need to talk to a professional about the loss of your child. You need to let that wound heal a bit, ya know? The human body is a really funny thing, generally--if you are focusing TOO much on getting pregnant, you won't. I don't quite understand WHY that is--but the more youo focus on it, the further away it seems to leap.
well with a full time job, and college, you will be having a full plate with a child. i agree with synnen, you need a doctor and a counselor. not being mean, but it sounds as though you have some underlying issues that need resolved. and remember that God works in mysterious ways, he may not have you having a baby in his plans now, whether there in your plans or not.
