Constant Vaginal Pain

For the past 2 days, my vagina has been in constant pain. It is red, irritation is most likely, but it does not hurt when I urinate. I also haven't noticed a change in discharge.

Could this be a yeast infection?

So the doctor's visit today confirms a yeast infection.
Which unfortunately will take a few days to go away, so a few more days of pain.

Thanks for the help guys.

I know I was seeming difficult, like I was making up excuses but things really aren't as easy and just going to the doctor around here.

But I went and all is well.

Choux agrees: I had a few yeast infections in my day, and *none* of them were painful. :)
hollylovesbrandon agrees: i had yeast infections long before i started having sex, so atleast it's something you can explain to your parents.
JudyKayTee agrees: Wow - nobody EVER comes back and says, "Maybe I seemed difficult." Glad things worked out for you - and thanks for reporting back.

Go to a doctor.....best case you find out its nothing....but if it is it can be treated early before it gets worse. Oops...missed page 2 and saw you already went. Glad you found out it was something easlily treated.
