Here goes: Unreleased stress located in a single physical space.

    The color blue - no.

I believe that it refers to the feeling a guy gets when he is sexually excited and does not climax or is prohibited from climaxing for a period. It can be very uncomfortable and at times painful.

It does exist, but it's not like they become smurf-blue or anything. What rather happens, as already described a bit by some, is that the bloodflow clutters there, usually due to an ongoing erection (stimulated) without orgasm.

Because of the pooling of blood in one area, the balls and arteries inside them swell a bit, and since arteries are blue, they can sometimes give off a blueish tint visible through the skin.. hence the term.

It's uncomfortable, but only slightly painful, and release helps of course; I think the thing the male suffers from mostly at such a moment is that he's incredible horny. ;)

Not a lot to add, as the above posts are pretty clear. Just some more mental wandering in this area... you asked, so you are likely wondering about the guys "feelings"

I think about the kind of throbbing you can get with a toothache or an earache.. the kind where you can literally feel each pulse as your heart beats... but in a region that gives different sensations obviously. And it's a mixed phenomenon.. more of a dull ache than acute pain... the innervation response that happens with "the guys"

You can graze a guy the wrong way and it'll double him over. Some of the worst "racks" I've had were actually not straight on, hard hits... some were like I was passing by a table and just bumped it wrong.

But then, some sexual positions take advantage of this sensitivity, such as coming toward the woman from behind.

Same thing with the pressure buildup... its great when there's eventual release, and when there isn't, it can actually hurt or throb. Not enough to double you over. Its nothing like a root canal. But its enough to put you in a rough mood. And the less you can escape it mentally, the worse it is.

I'm all for building up sexual tension... but there are times when it can be over the top... and sometimes its just a bit annoying.

On an odd similar note, sometimes pressure on the penis, either from above, or pushing it to the side, can also relieve some "pressure"... like a little pressure stim can begin to work you back down to a place where its not as bad.

So lets open the question further... when a woman is sexually aroused blood flows into similar erectile tissues in the genital region, including areas aroung the cl!toral "legs" down the sides of the vulva, and internally, such as at the spongy tissue at the g spot... so when you are sexually aroused, women, do you feel a strong, aching desire to have pressure against your pelvis? While this isn't the same in terms of overall setup... its still an engorgement of blood in the region.

Technically, the theory behind viagra (and others) being potentially useful for women comes from a similar heightening in arousal due to increased blood flow... though that also is tied to more than pressure, as the flow of hormones and chemicals play a role in arousal, lubrication, and sensitivity, such as the release of oxytoxin with nipple stimulation.

So... what does it feel like for the woman to be left high and dry if the mans starts your motor and then leaves?

Blue balls for the most part are a hoax to coerce women that don't know better into doing what he wants... have sex.

Fact is all it amounts too is a strong urge to get off and its nothing that he can't take care of himself via the obvious manner.

Is it unpleasant, uncomfortable... most certainly... is he going to die from it... not hardly.

Smoothy... did your wife put you up to writing that? You just wrote that post for your own sexual benefit, didn't you? Ok, thanks guys... for all answers. But staying with the feminazi persona that was given to me by Magprob I am going to have to continue to believe in Smoothy's answer.:D

KP - you asked how a women feels, so I think I'll answer that question, I can't answer Fallens because I'm not a man and I have no idea what it feels like (nor do I care as long as I'm satisfied, kidding, really, kidding).

The worst time for me was when I was pregnant with my second child. For some reason I was incredibly horny and it drove me nuts. I would wake up in the middle of the night in the throes of an orgasm and not know why. I'm not complaining mind you, but the lack of sleep was getting to me.

I do remember one particular time that I was driving in my car, I must have been around 6 months pregnant at the time. I was so incredibly horny and of course I wasn't in the ideal location to put an end to my misery, the only thing that helped was rocking my hips on the seat of my car, and that wasn't a major help, it just stopped me from hitting another car.

So, yes, women do experience discomfort if they are sexually aroused and they can't find a release, at least I do.

Wow, I can't believe I shared that story.

All I can say is thank god for sex toys. I'm 37 years old, in my sexual prime and losing my mind. The shower head is my best friend. Now I really have said too much. My bad.

As the original OP you can change the subject anytime you want. Or so I've been told.

Anyway, I was answering KP's question. Besides, I think it's about time we told these guys what women are all about. Otherwise they'll be lost forever. We are doing a service here.

Although I do have to say, I'm glad that none of my body parts turn blue when I'm frustrated, although I do have a pretty blue dildo. (Shut up Alty!)

Laughing my arse off here. Too funny!

I don't know if its technically threadjacking if you started it... but maybe... probably need mind-altering chemicals to help figure that one out. Too early for jack and coke.

The car story was great. Two odd orgasm quickies: first time I had an orgasm I remember was at a public park as a kid. We had this big slide, playground complex with long poles that went up about 15-20 feet, and the kids would climb up and slide back down. Well, just so turns out that the movement of clinching legs around the pole and thrusting upward just seemed to do the trick. Got to the top and felt this awesome wave all over my pelvis. Didn't know what the hell it was, but it was nice.

I must have climbed that thing a hundred times over the years.

Second was much later, early teens, riding the bus to school. I've always said steel-piercing hard ons are wasted on 14 year olds with nothing to do with 'em... well, in the spirit of the car story, I remember it was spring and the roads were pot-holed to hell... bumps all the way. So I'm just trying to get to first bell on time, and the ride is bouncing up all over the place. One thing leads to another and the vibration and bumps of that bus, driven by a old nun, got me right to the edge and eased through... meaning I had enough of an orgasm, but was able to hold back enough to not be embarrassed when I got off the bus. So... technically, one of the first orgasms a girl ever gave me was from an old nun bus driver.

Don't think I've ever argued with myself about a pretty blue dildo. There's always tomorrow.

KP - I'm glad I gave you a giggle, and you returned the favor. I was drinking coffee when I got to the part about your first orgasm and the nun. I am now wiping coffee off my computer screen. How am I going to explain that to hubby?;)

I was one of the lucky ones, I actually had an orgasm the first time I ever had sex. Either I'm lucky or he was really talented, heck, maybe I'm really talented.:D

Believe it or not a friend of my wife actually asked me about that, based on her Muslim upbringing and arranged marriage she really didn't know. Hubby did something I as a guy thought was pretty rude and self serving then was coming up with that excuse as a way of getting her to submit.

Sorry but most of the guys that throw that age old excuse around really haven't been acting in a very good way if they were having to resort to lies after all their begging resulted in nothing. But then, for the women they weren't the kind of guy you really wanted to make a life with anyway.

Believe it or not I have not once in my life ever used that line. And trust my I am no Brad Pitt, I'm pretty average. I never had to beg it off any woman. When I got it it was because we both wanted it. I never once shamed it out of her.

Yeah the frustration is great, hormones can make you say things you later regret... but its nothing a few minutes spanking the monkey won't cure.

Yes, I too get that G spot ache after a prolonged period of abstinence. My body is saying Yes, I'm ready! The woman's equivalent of blue balls? I think so!
