Wanting To Find My Children's Birth Parents

I have to adopted girls, and I am looking to find their parents, can anyone help. The lady that had the girls has had 7 kids throughout her lifetime. A total of 4 girls and 3 girls. All I know was that the mom's name was Kathy or Cathy, and the dad's name is John. I have no understanding as to what state they might be in.

How old are your children now? Why was the adoption closed?
