am i currently wanting to give up parental rights to my son. and let his grandmother adopt him, how do i do that.

The easiest way is to contact an attorney and have them do all the paperwork for you. However it is possible that you do it on your own.

You need to contact the courthouse in the area you live and see what papers you need to file. You will then need to go before a judge and express that you are unfit as a parent and your grandmother is willing to adopt the child. After that the ruling will be made, your rights will be terminated and your grandmother will be the legal mother to the child.

I do hope you understand that this is final....you will have no legal rights to the child what-so-ever....ever.

I hope you sincerely think long and hard about this before you do it.
