how would my husband adopted my daughter
hi my name is amber. my husband wants to adopted my daughter, but we dont know where her bio father is. how do i do this . how would i go about my husband adopting her?

For your husband to adopt your daughter her bio father would need to sign over his parental rights. Since you don't know where he is it would be in your best interest to hire a family law attorney. He can then make reasonable attempt to locate this man. If he is still not found then public posting is usuallly how this is handled. The info needs to be publicly posted for a specific amount of time (this varies from area to area) afterwhich the adoption proceedings should be able to go forward.
