i just want to no if i am 17 can my step dad still adopted me if im 18 in june ?

Yes. To my knowlege, there is no limit on age as far as when someone can be adopted. It just, of course, has different connotations as he has no control over you once you are 18. I know several step parents that have adopted their kids that were over 18.
