zolpidem intake over 4 years

my husband is addicted to stilnox over 4 year two pills at night , his temper become very aggressive even he imagine things that do not happen?! he become very aggressive and he can not control his anger , couldn t it from long term use of stinlox?

Is there a way to help him , I feel like he is a schizophrenic he says something and act different,could stilnox aggravate his situation?

The other name for this drug is Ambien, and yes it is known to be addictive. Some of the side effects are indeed anxiety and irritability.

Does he drink? This could aggravate these symptoms.

I would suggest you contact his doctor and let him/her know about your concerns.
