I want to stop taking Quetiapine

I have problems with hallucination and split personality once a year. My Doctor advised me to take Quetiapine, 200 mg, but I want to quit taking these tablets. Anyone kindly advise me.

Never stop taking medications without talking with a Doctor. Especially medications for mental health issues. The side effects of arbitrarily taking yourself off any medication can have unwanted and very dangerous consequences.

These medications are very powerful. Do not decide to disobey prescribing orders.

Cliff hit it on the nose. Do not stop taking Quetiapine without guidance from the prescribing physician.

If you are having problems with the medication then discuss that with the doctor and there may be another alternative or alteration available.
