From The 1st day you stop how long does it take for Methodone to leave the system?

It takes approximately 1 - 7 days for it to leave your urine and/or blood. It will remain in your hair follicles though until the hair affected with the methadone grows out and is cut.

This is also just a textbook approximate, everybody is different depending on metabolism.

Yes most drugs are under a week. I am not even sure there is a test for methadone. But I can tell you it's not something that is generally tested for.
Usually, they only thing they check for is pot and coke.

All illegal drugs are tested for. There are 5, 7, 10, and even higher panel drug screens.

I have to take them periodically, because my ex is a druggie and the courts always make me take one too. And they, told me that. It is a little thing they stick in it. Like a swizzle stick sort of. But it is instant. But now these same people told me that cocaine was detectable in the urine for up to 6 weeks. (thats her drug) I have never found any research to back this up.
But the tech at my dr office (they do them too) said the same thing, about it being 6 weeks. Crazy huh.

Yeah, pretty crazy, my text does not say 6 weeks. I'll have to check it out to be sure.

But there are drug screens, like the ones I take for school (I take a 10 panel) and they have to be sent out to a lab. It is not done on site.
