Dr. Bill if your there or anyone can you help me get some sleep tonight, with any experience in EtG testing do you think I will pass if I had two bottles of beer Wednesday and then a margarita Thursday ( the margarita was very weak and last drink of any alcohol was at 3pm) and I have a EtG test Monday at 3pm you think I'll pass? Or is there any likelihood I will fail. I have drinked a lot of water the past 2 days about 13 bottles to be exact. I know water may or may not help but what confuses me is the detection window. 3-5 days OR roughly 80hours... Ok so how would one fit into the 3 day period or less than 80 hours. When I take my test I will be at roughly 94 hours. I'm young male under 30yrs 6ft 200 lb I would say metabolism is moderate to high because I eat a lot but I'm not active. Thank you in advanced and taking the time to read my question or questions.

EtG is dose dependent. That is the more you drink the more EtG results. At 94 hrs and 3 drinks there should be no possibility of EtG remaining.

The 3-5 day statement is marketing propaganda. The 80 hr statement is the same. These derive from early studies that were conducted in detox units involving chronic alcoholics, with very high BAC on admission.

Thank you dr bill for your quick answer and your time, I was just worried because they say 80hr or 3-5 days and my 94hr is not quite 5 days but it is more than 80, but now I understand that 5 days is "extreme" rare occasions. Like old people with weak liver maybe lol or drinking excessively.
