    2-3 days, depending on how much you weigh, your metabolism, etc. But, if you are not prescribed xanax, you shouldn't be taking it, that's not smart at all. If you are supposed to take a drug test and you have been prescribed xanax, you should talk to whoever tests you.

    It takes from 24-36 hrs to leave your system, but it can be detected in urine tests for up to a week or so depending on test!
