It is good to hear that you admit you have a problem and that you are willing to get help. Unfortunately, if you cannot quit by willpower alone, you must get into a rehab center where you can learn to deal with this addiction properly.

Your local mental health facility can point you to detox centers, and hospitals, to deal with your problem, and show you where to go for help and support to stay clean. If you have any problems seek out a local meeting in Narcotics Anonymous, or Alcoholics Anonymous, as either can steer you in the right direction to getting you clean

Mandela, who told you that? It is not true. Call some of your local de-tox centers. Also there are some that titrate your treatment costs depending on your income.
I want to congratulate you on seeking help. You know you have a problem and that is the first step to recovery.
You would be surprised to hear of the many, many people who deny pot can be a drug problem.
Good luck and please let us know how you progress on your road to recovery.
I just want to give you a big hug for being so smart.

mandela1 agrees: thanks, isa you just gave me a big lift,i am going to try to find my local detox center asap, but for sure i,ve been told by a drug adviser from clarence house(help people with addiction)that there is no detox for weed because there is no proof of risk

Have heart and go to Na or AA, they are experts and will guide you. Where do you live anyway??

Comments on this post
excon agrees: NA is free and it works. There's no medical treatment for pot addiction.
