What type of company to form

I am going to form a corporation and I was curious what would be the best type. I am looking at forming an llc but I don't know if that woud be correct. I am planning on having my wife as an employee and pay her from the llc. I would also like to use the llc to get an employee help plan set up. Thanks for any suggestions.

How many other employees besides your wife ?

I would hire either a CPA or a tax attoreny to review this and even help set up the corporation, also deciding which state you wish to set it up in, for tax purposes.

It will probably just us two. I will be subcontracting my services to another llc which will find me work in the computer field.

I guess what is the real purpose of the LLC, do you have property and money you wish to protect from business liablity incase the business fails ?

** I have nothing against corporations, I have one myself,
But often what you want one for, or even if you need one has to be addressed.
