US Greece Double Taxation

I have a client with dual citizenship in Greece and the USA. The client will be working for a private firm in the US but will be living in Greece. Greek law requires him to pay taxes if he lives in the country for more than 183 days per year. Because his employer is located in the US, he will also have payroll taxes deducted from the US company. Is there a way to prevent taxation in the US via tax credits or double taxation treaties that can help him avoid excessive taxation? Thanks for your help...
