    Special Journal
    F Judy sees a bill from Lot's feeding suplply for las months purchases and decides to pay it. She writes aout number 144 for the amount of $32.
    Going into sales Jourdal or purchases Jourdal?

    Well if I understand what you are trying to say, it would go under purchases.

    I don't have any idea what you're trying to say either, but it certainly doesn't go into a Sales journal -- you don't pay for sales that you make to your customers.

    Was the bill already in payables? If so, it doesn't belong in the purchases journal either. Were those the only choices?
