    Could some one please send a copy of the page that states duties of welding inspector. And requirements of a written weld procedure. And qualification of a written weld procedure, thanks.

    To answer your question about weld requirements- you should have a referenced specification in your quote or contract.

    When reviewing the requirements of this specification you will be able to develop the requirements for auditors to this specification

    For example- if the penetration requirement is 10% material thickness, (as this is a destructive test in most cases) then you would want to check 30 pieces and get an idea on your capability. If the capability is good- then the checks could be once per shift- depending on your application. If the capability is bad- you would want to implment a BME check and take a look at your equipment to see what can be improved.
