Set up G/L Acct & enter deposit

Senerio,
Owner lends $5000 to his company from personal savings. What g/l acct do I use to show him as the A/Racct and when I record the deposit from him to A/R how do I show it so it doesn't show as income. It is on the bank statement as a deposit so I need to enter it so my statement balances on the computer .
