What is the difference between income from operations, and gross profit?

Income from operations is the money you earn from accounts such as:
Sales off of merchandise
Sales of services
and ect..

What the gross profit is:
income from your operations
income from various other things that aren't part of operations

MINUS

the cost of goods sold (what it cost you do by your merchandise to sell to your customers or what it cost you to perform your services, this also includes some expenses such as shipping and ect)
