Accounting methods in Canada.

Hello,
For my research paper in Financial Accounting class I need to find information about Accounting methods in Canada: Are IAS used in Canada? Are there any peculiarities in Accounting methods used in Canada? Particulary I need information about Accounting for Investments in Associates ( in Canada). Are there any web sites where I can find needed information? Any other sourses? I'd be very thankful if anyone can help me with some information conserning my topic. Thanks!
