How to compensate managers in a way that discourages gamesmanship
I'm doing a business case regarding mr. Vicker manipulating his bonus.
And my alternative course of action are
    >Make sure that compensation package for all employees have controls built in to them that discourage or penalize managing only for short term.
    Advantage:
    Good compensation package discourage gamemanship
    Disadvantage:
Encourage managers to maximize an excessive number of compiting targets. There's a risk of creating a situation where "confusion reigns and there's no accountability
    >there should be a series of standard procedure in accepting a certain iinvestment proposal
    Advantage
The company will be able to improve the accuracy of future investment analysis
Is this correct, can you help me to have another alternative solution. Thank you very much.

I take it you know who Mr. Vicker is and how he manipulated his bonus in what kind of company.

Your answers sort of beg the question. You don't say what the built in controls are. Nor what the set of standard procedures are. They both sound a lot alike. It's all very vague, as though it's just the opening paragraph to a 10 page paper.
